Emberists

Emberists were formed last year as part of a theatre production of Max Frist's staging of the Arsonists at the Chelsea Theatre Works in Boston. The play was a study of the oncoming rise of fascism during World War 2 and the Emberists provided the musical backdrop between scenes. Our music combines a mix of burlesque, gothic folk and american roots.
